Here are some first answers to the most frequently asked questions.

How do I set up a check-in schedule?

After registering, you can set your preferred check-in interval in the app settings. You'll then receive a push notification as a reminder at your chosen frequency.

What happens if I miss a check-in?

If you miss a check-in, AliveGuard waits for a configurable grace period before automatically notifying your trusted contacts via SMS and/or email.

Will my contacts be notified without my consent?

No. You remain in full control at all times. You can pause check-ins, manually reset an alert, or edit your contacts whenever you like. Notifications only ever occur within the rules you have set.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account at any time directly in the app under Settings → Delete Account. All your data will then be permanently removed within 30 days. If you run into any issues, our support team is happy to help.

I've found a bug. What should I do?

We appreciate every report. Please describe the issue briefly in an email – a screenshot and your iOS version are very helpful. We'll look into it.
